Flexibility Flexible schedules are offered to encourage a family friendly work environment, based on program and agency needs.

Insurance Medical, dental, prescription and vision coverage are available for all benefit-eligible employees, beginning day one of employment. Premiums may be paid on a pre-tax basis.

Insurance Incentives Through the voluntary HealthQuest Rewards System employees can earn credits for discounts on premiums and HRA/HSA reward dollars by completing various activities in efforts to promote physical, mental and emotional health.

Paid Leave Earn up to 12 sick days and 12 vacation days within your first year, as well as 9 paid state holidays. Accrual rates for sick and vacation leave increase after 5, 10 and 15 years of service.

Paid Parental Leave DCF offers new parents paid parental leave to bond with their new additions. This includes biological and adoptive children.

Volunteer Leave Giving back to our community is at the forefront of what we do, so DCF offers up to 4 hours of paid leave a month for employees to volunteer in their communities.
