Prevention and Protection Services Adult Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Central Registry

​The Department for Children and Families maintains a statewide registry identifying, after due process, persons substantiated for the abuse, neglect, exploitation or fiduciary abuse of vulnerable adults.

 
Who can submit requests?  Agencies or Individuals, if the proper paperwork is submitted.
 
Process to check an individual against the Adult Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation Central Registry:
  • Fill out the OBI10400 PDF, and sign appropriately.
  • Return the form via email to:​ DCF.APSRegistry@ks.gov
    • or you may return via mail-to the address on the form.
  • ​For re​quests via email the average response time for requests to be processed is 3 to 5 business days. Please allow an additional 5 to 7 days if mailing through the US Postal Service.

Substantiated Findings:  If your Adult Abuse Registry Check is returned with a substantiated finding and you're interested in seeking expungement information for the Adult Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Central Registry, please contact Adult Protective Services:
