Any person who has been a substantiated perpetrator of child abuse or neglect and is placed on the Child Abuse
and Neglect Central Registry may apply to the Secretary of DCF to have their case reviewed for expungement after three years have
passed since the most recent confirmed incident. If an expungement is denied, individuals may request another expungement after 12 months have passed since the last request.
