Operations Fingerprint Services


DCF has a network of Electronic Livescan Fingerprint locations available to DCF Clients that are applying for:
  • ​Foster Care Licensing
  • Employment at Licensed Facilities
  • Relative Placement
  • Adoption

****You must be associated with a Child Placing Agency, to be Fingerprinted.

For General Fingerprint Questions: 


Law Enforcement Agencies across the state of Kansas offer Electronic Livescan Fingerprint Services.  Unlike DCF locations, many of these locations require a fee.  (At this time DCF does NOT reimburse for this fee).  


If you do choose to go to one of these Agencies:
  1. Call and make an appointment
  2. Bring the Required Law Enforcement Paperwork to the Appointment - FP-1020, Waiver and Privacy Agreement​
  3. Send an email to DCF.FPTopeka@ks.gov​ – with the Date of your appointment
    1. ​  ​Attach the completed DCF Required paperwork to the email – (Waiver / FP-1020​)
