The Department for Children and Families maintains a statewide registry identifying, after due process, persons substantiated for the abuse, neglect, exploitation or fiduciary abuse of vulnerable adults.
Who can submit requests? Agencies or Individuals, if the proper paperwork is submitted.
Process to check an Individual against the Adult Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation Central Registry:
- Fill out the OBI10400 PDF, and sign appropriately. Link to form: OBI10400
- Return the form via email to: DCF.APSRegistry@ks.gov or you may return via mail-to the address on the form.
- For requests via email the average response time for requests to be processed is 3 to 5 business days. Please allow an additional 5 to 7 days if mailing through the US Postal Service.
