Kansas Governor Sam Brownback signs proclamation designating August as Child Support Services Awareness Month.

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has designated August as Child Support Services Awareness Month. Through its contractors, DCF provides child support services to 135,843 Kansas families. The percentage of child support orders has increased four percentage points within less than two years of privatization, at a significantly reduced cost to taxpayers.
