Newsroom Governor Brownback Signs Proclamation: April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

TOPEKA - Governor Sam Brownback and Department for Children and Families Secretary Phyllis Gilmore are calling attention to the problem of child abuse. On Friday morning, the Governor signed a proclamation designating April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Kansas.

 

The annual campaign to prevent child abuse is sponosred by the Kansas Children's Service League. ​
